REALITY TV_NOT

well, my "reality is not real" hub got so big, i decided to do a spinoff, much like american chopper and other reality shows. yes american chopper has a spinoff, father against son. did we really need another american chopper,NO!!! that show became so boring, father son build bike, father son have fight, father and son stalk off, younger son caught in middle, father and son make up long enough to show bike. i guess they were losing viewers so the producers came up with an idea, lets do a spinoff, father against son. big freakin deal, theyve bulit every bike they can, gotten rich on the show, even opened up their own factory,

these celebriality stars are getting rich off the producers, they have their own brands, their own salons, hotels, business's etc. think jonathan, betheny frankel, rachel zoe, the american chopper guys, the little people and many more. yes even the ghosthunters have gotten rich off doing their show- they bought a hotel/bed and breakfast and are or were restoring it. now tell me 2 plumbers from rhode island, maine or wherever make enough to open and restore their own hotel? thats the way it is though, producers dont have to pay them, so they allow them to hatch their own products/brands.

the celebrities on these reality shows are making more money, as if they didnt have enough, keep your name in the tabloids/entertainment news and you wont go bankrupt. gene simmons, runs house, dee snyder, the kardashians, kamara-life in the fast lane and the harry and lisa show, much like the apprentice guy and his wife from E..does anyone even know who these people are...i remember harry hamlin from la law, but does he need a reality show? i guess you do if you are an actor, singer whatever who wants to keep their name out there. how much money is enough and how much self promotion do you want!!!!! good lord, these people are actors folks, you can bet they are acting in their "reality" shows. thats their jobs!!!

when you get actors doing reality shows, harry hamlin, david hasselfoff, gene simmons, tony danza and the like, you know these shows arent real anymore. its called ACTING and that goes for the supposed "reality stars" that are supposedly not actors.  its all planned and produced, just like a regular tv show. i guess people like to watch these shows just to see what these idiot celebrities do next, as for me i fefuse to watch them, they arent worth my time.

rehab shows are even becoming popular, desperate stars are showing up for these rehab, lets get thin shows, sadly to just keep their name out in the public arena. sad, sad, sad....when will we the american public grow up and realize these losers arent worth watching!!! i do watch rachel zoe, a guilty pleasure. dont ask me why...i know, i know, how can i belittle the other shows when i watch rachel zoe, i guess because she seems genuine, even vulnerable, qualities the other "reality show stars" lack.

real people in real situations, thats reality, like the Manhunter, DEA, first 48, crime 360, segal, dog the bounty hunter and others. even the paranormal shows, although ghost hunters is growing old and is spawning to many ghost hunting type shows, ghost adventurers, most haunted, beast legends, fact or fiction ( the show where they try to debunk photos and video), the show with the mom psychic and more. i guess if something succeeds then the producers are off to the races to spawn all sorts of spinoffsl. just like the competition shows. can you say top chef!!!

if you throw a dozen out there, one is bound to work. you may be thinking, dog and segal are rich enough and already celebrities, why are they any different from the others i talked about? well for one, segal is out and about with real cops and he is a real reserve deputy sheriff. dog is seen capturing real fugitives, thats how he makes his living. not to mention dog and segal do alot of good for their communitoes. cant fault them for that. color me stupid but i just found out these so called reality show "stars", do actually get paid a paycheck.

hmmm i thought they got something along with promoting their own stuff and speaking engagements, books etc, but an actual paycheck like real actors get blew me away, i wonder if they had to join SAG? how can anyone call a reality show a reality show when the stars are getting paid? one has to know then that they have directors and scripts and all the other things that go with making a television show!!! i used to think these reality shows were popping up all over the place cause they were cheap and the "stars" werent getting paid an actual check, you wanna talk cheap ask the one on real housewives of NJ, she wants a raise.. good lord, as if there arent 20 more just like her, chomping at the bit to get on tv.

next for all these "reality show stars" is to go on strike and want more money per episode just like the real actors.pretty soon there will be 3 episodes in a regular tv season and a million so called reality shows they will have a new category for the emmys, best actor/actress in a drama reality show, producers be careful what you wish for, you may just get what you deserve.

anyway, ill be back to write more on these non reality shows, i noticed geraldo, on his show the other night, was talking about how these shows arent real anymore, ive inspired a real live "newsman" to talk about something near and dear to my heart, yeaaaaaaaaa!!! you go geraldo.
